Ford had a 2.4l V6 that was one of the options on the Granada.  The
problem was the tax break at 2.0l - if you went above that, you got hit
for tax, and it didn't make much (any, in the late 1980s) difference
how far you went.  So almost all Granadas were either 2.0l or 2.9l,
and only private purchasers ever bought the V6.  Cosworth bored it
out to 2.6l, but I don't remember seeing it used.

I don't think Cosworth has anything to offer Audi.  Bizarrely, it's
greatest asset is the name.  I'm sure there's a certain sector of
the population who'd buy an Audi with a Cosworth badge, just as I'm
sure there are people who would buy Audis with BMW engines.

(Even though BMW has now changed 600+ 6-cylinder engines under warranty
 because they wear out as soon as they're started.)
