ur-quattro repair update
All,
This weekend I got my ur-quattro fired up after four months of work and about
$2700. I was totally amazed when it started right up. I was certain it would
be a drawn out affair but to my surprise she came right to life.
Better still no leaks from oil lines or coolant hoses and she seems to run
perfectly fine. It is still up on stands so no road test yet.
I am concerned how well my boost gauge is going to work after my son flipped
the needle a few times while I had the cluster a part and it sounds like I
have a noisy throw out bearing ( bummer ).
I still need to have the rear end seals replaced, replace the front sway bar
bushings and replace the two front outer CV boots.
It won't be long now.
