Passat AWD?

Todd,
   I actually saw a new Passat with a V6 badge on it on I35W 
here in the Twin Cities, so I'm assuming they're available. However, I
haven't heard that Quattro would be available on the Passat. Doe anybody
know if this is true? 
   Once I get the money to fix the V8 I plan to sell it and get something
newer and cheaper to run. This or the A4Q 1.8 T both sound like good
candidates. Hopefully I can find someone rich to buy the V8. The last car
I had like this was a plushed out 6cylinder Volvo that I managed to dump
on a Columbia graduate student whose father owned oil wells. Maybe he has
a little brother.
