BTDT.

You won't get that much more light on the road where you need it. I
upgraded DOT bulbs and didn't think it made that much difference with the
DOT lenses. Course that was before the 9004 connector toasted itself, and
left me with zero light. And I was using the heavy duty 9004 harness from
Competition Limited.

The 9004 connector simply won't pass that much current. If the headlamp
switch holds up, you'll melt the connector at the bulb. If the switch
fails, the connector will be okay. It's up to you. :)
