  I had a set of tires put on a (non-Audi) recently at the local tire store.
They used these rods to torque my wheels, though I was a little skeptical.  I
went home and got out the torque wrench.  A few of the lugs were over, but
only by a couple pounds.  Over all, I was pretty impressed. They seem to work.
