Hi Larry,
How about something radical? How about a Chev 350 cid V8? There is someone
who is working on a small block Chev engine into a 5k on the list. It
sounds like an interesting project. Even wilder yet would be a big block
454 cid Chev. These engines are relatively inexpensive and very easy to
modify to make serious power. They are extremely reliable. I know it may
not have the sex appeal of a 4.2l exotic engine like the Audi's but you
will have the ultimate sleeper.
