Interesting idea. How about a comp controlled late model LT1, plenty
of aftermarket go-fast goodies for that engine. Adaptor plates to make
it mate up to the Audi trans might be a nightmare, but I've seen a lot
of strange things (a supercharged Ford 302 in a Miata for example).
There are a lot of adaptor manufactures out there. Look in any Car Craft
or Hot Rod, or even 4Wheeler.
