I don't know if the stuff is available throughout the US,
but I've used JB WELD for tons of repairs. The stuff
is an epoxy that you mix, once mixed, it's grey in color.
Takes about 24 hours to set up, meanwhile it flows nicely.
Once setup, you can sand it, drill it, whatever.
I always keep some around. Broke a brand new vacuum
valve for my Toyota, after much cursing, I JB'd a piece
of brake line in place of the original nipple, was still on
the truck 4 years later when I sold it, still working.
