It is my understanding (without btdt) that you need to run a hyd. cam in
your car.  The one you found, if it is indeed from that car, is an
upgrade for cars that have solid lifters.  I think the cam you would
want is the one in the 130 hp engine, like the 87 5ks one I hung on to
when I finally had the carcass taken away.

Experts, correct me if I'm wrong....

PS

My temptation is to take the whole darn head out of my 82 5kt parts car
and clean it up and use it.  That way I get the bigger valves as well...
plus I'll know for sure if my oil usage is due to leaky valve stem
seals!
