RE: Wheel bearings: 100 and 200, 1990, fwd auto



I would stay away from experimenting with the grease, ( I am aware that you
like to "stretch" the envelope), the grease that is used in the bearing is a
special grease and I am not sure the red line will duplicate all it's
qualities?.....anyway the problem with sealed bearing (for the axle) is the
damage to the seal (and LOSS of grease) not the type of grease........
Good luck on your "  ?  " project and keep us informed, maybe you will get
improved gas mileage......
