I wish I could help Gerard with his wheel bearing question, but actually,
his question just made me think of one I've been wanting to ask.

Someone (Wolfsport? New Dimensions?) sells VW bearings repacked with
Redline grease. Does anyone have any experience with these bearings?
And how did they do it? I thought these types of bearings were a 
sealed assembly. Can a shadetree QLister repack a set (using one of
those bearing-repacking thingies)?
