Re: Camaraderie + Vacation Vs Q-List (zilch in meaningful content)

On the 30th of I will be driving from Simcoe, ON too Steamboat Springs CO. in the '86 CGT returning on August 12th.

I will be waving at all Audi's on Interstate 94, 80 & 76 so please no handguns, tire irons or lewd gestures since I will be an unarmed Canuck carrying only used ball equipment for my daughter's tourney and doing my international duty of fostering mutual admiration between fellow Audi owners.

BTW - In planning this trip I had to take into consideration the amount of accumulated messages from the Q-List.

Lately the average number of messages (excluding Spam) has run about 204 per day.  Since I will be gone 14 days that equates to 2856 messages.

It also takes on average about 4 minutes to download 204 messages so the 2856 should take about 56 minutes.

To read, keep/delete a message runs another 30 seconds - so the time I will need to go through this "stuff" should take perhaps 1428 minutes (23.8 hours) or 24 hours if you add the download time and other non "Q" stuff (like this posting).

If I spend 8 hours a day (excluding break-time) to sort through this "stuff" that should eat up another 3 days.  But I must also add in the 3 days of messages I'll miss trying to catch-up so that's another 5.5 hours plus that days listings which should kiss 4 days down the tubes fairly easily.

So now my vacation is up to 21/2 weeks - thanks a bunch fellow listers - now I only have 1/2 a week left.
