Perhaps the CGT guys can shed a bit more light on the '86 "Commerative
Edition" white with red leather cars (also should be info inthe archives).

The 4kcsq "Commerative Build" I do recall very well was just over 10 years ago
I bought one new, my first quattro (yes, I blame my present sickness all on
that little innocent car ;-)...).

Those cars were 1987 model year. I saw them (new at the dealer with
"Commemerative Build Package" on the window stickers) in Red and White. Don't
know if any other colors were offered, don't believe so.

The package included:

1. Special "quattro" scripted cloth interior
2. so called "sport suspension"
3. and on the Alpine White cars, body colored mirrors and wheels (and yes,
those white Ronals were a major PITA to keep clean!)
