Coupe GT or 4000Q for a teenager

Here's my 0.02 cents:

My first car was a Hyundai Pony at 16, I didn't really drive people
around, but I did all sorts of crazy stuff.  Used to live out in the
country to make things worse, twisty gravel roads!!!  No matter what car
you get at this age, you will drive like a maniac.  So get something
underpowered, that can't cause too much damage.  I got my audi 4000s 2
years ago, I was about 20 years old, so just coming out of the teen
years. As soon as I got my audi, I fell in love.  I started to drive
everywhere, I was always the one driving, just cause I love to drive my
Audi.  Wherever we go as a group, I just have to drive.  Even now, for
example, a bunch of us are going camping this weekend, there will be
about 3 or 4 cars going.  I don't care if I have to drive alone, but I
gotta drive!

Whether a Coupe or a 4000? I don't really see a difference if they are
both fwd, 4 or 5 cyl's.  They are both roomy inside, they both look
good, and are characteristically very similar.  I'd say go for the best
deal, maybe in a year or two pick up a quattro for him.
