I'd have to say that either the salesman and I were not communicating well,
or he (like many salesman--Osman and Dave excepted) is very adept at
earnestly promoting things that just "ain't so." He was hell bent on
impressing me about the rarity of that car, and his assertion was (1)the S6
is scarce,(2) the 95.5 model is an S6 subset, and moreover the EDL version
is an even smaller (100 cars) subset. Blah!
So, if I understand correctly the feedback I've seen: All of the S6 cars
designated as 95.5 models (i.e. pseudo '96) came with the Quattro IV (EDL)
setup. Moreover, an S6 is qualified to be termed a "95.5 model" if and only
if (IFF, a mathematician would say) it has the EDL system.
I oughta be able to remember that. :)
