RE: 2.4L NA I5 in 84 4KQ BTDT?
Welcome back.
I have since looked at this further. The 2.3l head is not the same as the
2.2l head. The 2.3l incorporates the injectors into the two piece intake
manifold. i.e. There is no separate injector insert hole threaded into the
2.3l head. This means that you either use the 2.3l block, and the rest of
the 2.2l stuff (head, intake, fuel lines, fuel distributor etc) or you drop
in a 2.3l motor complete and swap your 2.2l fuel distributor to accommodate
the different ends on the 2.3l injector lines.
That's all I have.
