I believe the rule in MA is that you must display all the plates
you were given. They used to only give one, but now give two.
If you got 'em, show 'em :-(
In NH, you must be in "possession" of all plates. The front plate
for my 100Q is in the trunk, from where I dust it off every year
for inspection.
