Porsche Guys?

I was really trying to avoid this thread, but I can no longer
refrain.....

Qualifying as one of those "present Porsche Guys", I LOVE my '82 911. I
bought the car in 1986 with 28K miles on the clock and it still runs and
looks great. I bought the car not as a status symbol, but as a car that
I knew would ALWAYS be a classic and a car that I would be happy driving
for a l-o-n-g time (despite what happened to my name sake!). I've
virtually done nothing to the car but standard maintenance and some
cosmetics over the years. It's showing it's age a little now, is
certainly not the fastest thing on the road, but drives great, looks
great and is an all around pleasure.

For the record, (Are you Listening Frank) a lot of these same reasons
are why I bought my '91 V8.

BTW, I'm not even close to middle aged, but I use to have a lot more
hair.
