The 83 VW dasher also has a K24 on it.  I had posted a few months ago that
this turbo (Dasher) is probably not water cooled, but may be a direct
bolt-in to an Ur-q.  Nice cheap low-end performance upgrade.  A few listers
responded that these turbos have different spool-up characteristics than a
200q or S4/6 K24, and may not be applicable to the gasoline I5.
