Repainting: finishing touches

I've resprayed the rear quarter and trunk of my 4kq, using Duplicolor 
Tornado Red, and the color is quite close to the rest of the car, although 
it's obviously not the same. It has that slight grapefruit finish to it. 
Should I use a 600 grit and sand this down, or go with a mild compound? I 
plan on using Mother's glaze and wax to finish it off. Should I clear coat 
it first?

Any other recommendations to getting a close match? Any tips are welcomed!
