synth vs. Sino Manufacture Techniques

NO, NO, NO,
IF you watn a Synth vs Dino debate on benefits to the engine then
LEave. REad no further. THis is a question about environmental Benefits.
I was reacently taling with my girlfriend while flogging her new
4kq at 90mph on a back road while late for a wedding. (Funny thing, when
we are late, she has me drive on windy roads :) Anyhow, I was going
over some suggested maint. items for her car like new plugs, a pint of
Techron. Synth Oil. Redline fluid. ETC.
HEr question is this. Is the way Synthetic oil is Manufactured
more environmentally friendly. I "ASSUME" that Synth is still really a
Dino oil by nature in being from Petroleum Reserves which is an
un-renewable resource. She buys my story about synth being better for the
engine but will definately use it if it is more friendly to environment.
I Believe it is probably friendlier in the car because the higher purity
will burn cleaner ??? but have not a clue about manufacturing techniques.
Any comments on this issue would be appreciated, especially by those
associated with Mobil 1 or AmSoil or whatever that other one is. I think
a few people on the list are associated with them.
	Anyhow, thanks
