I'm assuming that the switch is disconnected and that the car's not running.
I've seen this suggestion on the list many times and it worked successfully
for me twice without any problems.

I wonder if the concern about flammability is due to the propellant in the
can?  I doubt if WD40 is still flammable once it's sprayed on, although I've
never tried to ignite something I've just sprayed!

What would you suggest instead of WD40?
