Geez, even a type 44 quat without the T can give
'em a run for their money. I'm near a really nice
twisty road that heads out to Peggy's Cove, not
many straights and those are pretty short. A SHO
comes right up on my a...butt and starts
snortin'. I know there is a 180 degree sharp turn
to the left going down hill comin' up, upshift to
third, revs just short of 4k, start into the
corner and jump on it to see if I can give the SHO
a go. A fairly long straight after this, if you
count about half a km, and at the end another
sharp 180 to the right. SHO is closing. Brake
down from 120 km, pop it into 3rd, do the same
thing. Comin' out of this corner I know it's all
back and forth in front, zip for straights. In
the end I lost sight of the thing but I knew there
was a little village coming up and when I got
there I pulled over. Five seconds later this
mother (god forgive his sins :-) comes barrelling
through hell bent for leather. I should know
better.

I should mention tho' that I like to practice on
this road, so I know a lot about it, how fast with
the rubber squealing but not sliding, where
there's likely to be gravel on it, etc. Been
having fun on this road for more years than I
would like to remember.

Cheers!
