AC Sealing Rings - Replace or not?

Hi All:

Got a leak in one of my AC hoses.  Had the system evacuated today in
prep for the new hose arriving.  It's the green in me :).  Have all
new o-rings for other hoses coming too.  No leaks there but should
I go ahead and replace the o-rings.  My mech. says not to bother. 
What say ye?
