Aren't 3 and 4 interchangeable?  It's 5 (silicone) that way different and 
non-interchangeable.  Not to worry, I believe.

You can rule out the vacuum pump on the side of the head by taking it off 
and removing the pushrod and seeing if the brakes get worse.

However, your engine should pull enough vacuum by itself that the brakes 
should still work fine.  That said, the servo is the most likely culprit, 
it was on my Coupe GT.

I'm sure someone else has a diagnosis for the master cylinder.
