1990 200 sunroof adjustment

The sunroof in my 1990 200 TQavant got out of whack and 
stuck in the "tilt" position. I pulled a post from a few years 
ago by Pablo and found the applicable section in the Bentley,
then opened it up at lunch. I was able to get the sunroof into
the rest/home position and then followed the procedure on 
adjusting the motor /micro switches.

At this point the sunroof tilts and retracts into the roof fine.
When returning to the rest/home position from the slide position
it lines up fine, but when returning from the tilt position the 
sun roof doesn't completely go flat. I have rechecked the 
alignment a few times and eveything lines up. Any clues to 
what I am missing or other adjustments which need to be made?
