gee not really, your high beam for each H4 is only just over ten amps. 
seperate ground on each side?  what guage?  Those big .300 (or
whatever...) terminals ought to be able to handle it.  Have you tried
dielectric gel on the terminals and connections to improve the
conductivity yet?
