93 100CS: channel codes, seat control, indicator light ?'s

There have been several references recently to channel code #'s and 
info like status of climate control system, vehicle speed, etc.  
Being somewhat new to this list, I may have missed earlier posts on 
how to activate channel code display.  
e.g.  : Climate Control channel 22

Driver's seat position selector.  The number 1 button in the door 
mounted seat position selector popped out, and it seems as if the 
plastic tabs that hold it in place may have failed.  Anyone have 
experience with this or have an old switch with a good button.  The 
dealer only sells the entire switch ($103).  Temporary fix was to 
take the spring off the button and drop the button  back in the 
slot.

Regarding indicator lights that have burned out, I presume there is a 
similar bulb behind the heated seat indicator, as the driver's side 
indicator is burned out.  Anyone have info on how to remove this 
switch.  Assume aftermarket bulbs that have been described elsewhere 
would work here, as Audi does not list replacement bulbs for this 
part, but wants to sell the entire switch.
