90q seats and headroom.

Hello,
When I was buying the 1988 90 q, someone warned me regarding the  head
space being  a bit too tight. When checking out the car I somehow didn't
feel it was a problem, but recently began noticing it. I am 6'3" and I
often bump my head against  the roof, especially when turning around when
going in reverse, even though the seat is at its lowest setting. Strangely,
in the 4000S that we have it never bothered me. I think the "problem" is
that the seats in the 90 are in a  better shape, or maybe they are actually
taller.


My question is, did anybody have a similar problem and considered getting
lower-than-stock front  seats for this car? If so, I would like to request
some info on vendors, etc. How much $$ am I talking about?
