When monkeys fly. The winshield is part of the structure
of the car, as such it's in there, period. Abandon all
hope ye who try and remove it intact. My friend has
a 5KT that was hit HARD in the right front, shifted
whole front of car over a few inches...windshield
is still intact. I was impressed.

As for installing a new one, it's not worth it. I was
talking to a glass installer I know, and they're only
getting $40 an installation, no matter what the
application is (insurance is paying this max price, take
it or leave it), they'll remove and install an aftermarket
one for this, not worth the frustration/risk of installing
a new glass yourself. Don't know what the glass costs,
but if you email me I could get a price from him.
