Hey guys,

Not to pick on Virtual Bob here but this Viper bashing is mostly
unfounded. The Viper is a fairly advanced sportscar with refined
handling, good brakes, and phenominal acceleration. I've never been in
an Audi that matches it quite frankly. Even if you did build a 5KCSTQ
with a pikes peak engine, and could keep up with a Viper, I think alot of
folks would be saying "why?" instead of "Wow, that old Audi beat a Viper!"

The _only_ beef I might have (other than styling, which is
subjective) is its weight. However, the car weighs a few pounds more than
it should because it is heavy duty. You don't see these things breaking
down that often. OTOH, the RX7TT for example, as much as I like it, is
pretty fragile, and could use a few pounds just to beef up some
components.

Not a chance. :-) Not without _alot_ of money and work.

BTW, what defines "high-tech?"
