Boy does that sound familiar... tonight I did the first hydraulic bleed job
on my 84 4kq. What seemed like such a trivial job turned into all
afternoon and tonight 'til eleven. Snapped one bleeder screw off,
(thankfully NOT the clutch), discovered a 1/8" pipe plug in driver's rear
bleeder position, and generally pissed my wife off by missing dinner. I
did however make a cute little pressure bleeder out of an old cap as
suggested by listers. A new tool!

Thanks for all of the advice -- I think I'll try the valve stem seal job.
