the other ambient sensor is in the evaporator box, also where some of the
refrigerant sensors are located. they are all secured on this little plastic
shelf. Both sensors are identical in function, parts #, etc.. I recall reading
old mail that a replacement can easily be acquired from such places as Radio
Shack, or other convenient outlet.
        In a pinch, one of these can be bypassed, as the final result at the
dash is the average of these two sensors.
