Nope.
The circuit is *broken* by wearing out the pad and wire to trip
the indicator light.
BTDT.
One of my (repco) pads broke the wire just where it comes
out of the pad, so I couldn't really fix it. All I did was
take a piece of wire and jumper the connector pins for that
wheel's sensor. Voila! I figure the other one will wear out
and give me a real indication sooner or later.
I suspect that some pads tend to break their wires the same
way mine did. Try jumpering the pins on the connector and
seeing if that helps.
