RE: Stealthy A4 courtesy V1 - double bogey trap experience.

Hi Paul
Thanks for your very useful reply - I will follow your suggestions.
No, unfortunately Valentine don't make a Right Hand version for those of us
whodrive on the _correct_ side of the road but the panel is easily read when
mounted exactly midships under the mirror. Some have advised positions where
antenna view (especially laser) is compromised. Valentine _strongly_ advise
center high windshield.

My V1 saved me last night virtue of its _locator_ ability - double bogey
trap would have had me with normal detector. First cop was booking speeder
with his radar left on which my V1 correctly located as I drove by. Then
800m down road the arrows changed from rear to front and I twigged just
before the second cop could lock me. Worth every cent of the inflated price
we pay here in NZ!!

The stories are true.

Pull harder. That's what I did with mine.
<snip really useful mounting advice>
The V1 sits just below and
to to the right of center of the mirror(reverse for you guys who drive on
the wrong side of the road. Does Valentine make a reverse version for you
guys?).

It's not a good idea to mount the V1 on the dash since neither antenna will
have a clear view.
