RE: 5K slushbox to manual conversion

Hi!

I am still considering/planning this conversion to
my beat-up old 200 from 1990. I know a guy who is
keen to do the job for me. Claims to have done it
to an early '80s 200/4k turbo and to a MC-engined
200. He is not electronically inclined, does more
on the mechanicals, so I have no idea what he knows
about the electronic ignition timing sensors at the
back of the motor. He said what he does is use a shim
for some or other clearance thing. Anyway, might
as well clear it up now: how different is the location
and mounting of the crank timing sensors at the back
of the MC 10v motor? Assuming that a maual box from a
100 will be used. In all the info I've got from the list
about doing this job I think I am missing details on
how different the sensors are. I don't have access to
a fiche for a FWD manual and FWD auto 200 so I can't
take a look. Also, as far as speedo sensors are
concerned, all I've heard of is that the speed sensor
on the auto tranny should bolt right into that of
the manual.

Anyone be able to get me a copy of the fiche for a
manual 200 and auto 200?

Thanks. Sorry for the bandwidth waste, but I'd just
like to get this sensor difference cleared up.

G.
