Far be it from me to suggest that the list spans a much wider breadth
of experience.
Like me being stopped three times in two weeks in the ur-quattro.
I don't think my reaction on the last occasion would have been well
received across the pond - throwing the door open, jumping out, and
hollering: "OK - what the &$£% is it _this_ time?"
I came through the same territory the day before yesterday, in much the
same manner, saw the same copper, and he didn't flinch.
