RE: Subject: 90cs pricing

Hi Mark...I just bought my 93 90CS in april with 49k on the Od (have 56k
now) for $12.9k....very good shape. Dealer took care of a few things that
needed to be done (back driver side window inoperative, radio code). Three
months after i purchased the car (one month after short warranty from
dealer ran out!) my water pump took a dive...so had to replace that and
timing belt, but that needed to be done by 60k anyway, so didn't feel too
bad about it.
$12.5 doesn't sound unreasonable, as long as the miles aren't over 60k or
so. My car was a lease return, so hopefully the po took care of the
maintanence (I received no records, bummer).
Good Luck with you're friends search.....My only regret was not holding out
for a Q! Someday, I hope!

Hello Listers,

I know this is not quattro but most of you guys follow the whole badge. A
friend of mine is looking at a 93 90cs fwd, automatic, leather electric
seats, loaded.
The dealership is asking $12,500 for it. Kelley blue book is at about
$15,000 although that is always quite a bit higher than what people really
get for the cars. Any comments on the cost of the car for the value?
