RE: Our friends at AofA

Gang:

Lets not jump to the wrong conclusion. Just a couple of years ago Porsche
North America was really in gauge mode, and came to its senses. I've been slowly
collecting all, and I mean ALL of the bits and pieces to restore the 911, and am
not affraid to "shop" around and PNA really got its act together, prices on
things like the Hella driving light lenses droped by over 1/2, same with rubber
trim. The icing on the cake was a factory Carrara tail at 1/2 price, less then
Automotion wanted for a "after market" tail. No has anyone got a new/good '82
dark brown dash, it seems the stock world wide is all gone.
I've also found the guys/gals at McDonald Audi/VW to be quite good to work
with, I've let them work on the Jetta I had and the Audi I replaced it with and
have not been disappointed.
I really think Audi is trying, its just more than likely hard to get on top
of a growing market segment they are adjusting to.
