RE: Our friends at AofA

>ANNOUNCING A FREE OIL CHANGE

How, by acknowledging our existence?

>Our parts and service professionals are out to win you over. In fact,
>we're working harder than ever to convince you to come to us for all
>your service needs. It only makes sense when you think about it.

Thinking about it.....thinking........Hmmm. Nope, makes no sense to me.

>Because only we have the factory-trained technicians, the latest diagnostic
>tools, and the Authentic Audi Parts made to precise Audi specifications.

Factory training includes 2 full hours of watching a video tape that explains
how not to look stupid when the customer catches you screwing up his car.

>All backed by a 12-month...warranty on materials and workmanship.

Hell, the Ford & GM replacement parts are warrantied for longer than
that......

>Here's more good news. We've recently reduced prices on many of our most
>popular parts up to 60%.

Yea, parts that we often use such as battery retaining screws, dash bolt, and
seat rails. WHAT ABOUT DOOR PANEL FABRIC?!?!!??!?

>So bring in the free oil change coupon and take advantage of this special
offer, and

Better qualified to take you for a ride than any other shop!

>Your Audi Parts and Service professionals. We'll help keep your Audi all
Audi.

They'll keep my Audi all VW, part GM (climate control), part Porsche, and who
knows what else?

{end of rant}
