84 4ks back in action!

Thanks to all of those who responded and offered suggestions as to my no
idle prob. (You know who you are!) Turns out when I lifted the top of the
airbox to change the filter the big, "Michelin Man" hose tore near the
manifold end.  I took it off and applied some silicon...let dry...apply a
little more silicon...crank...start...idle...yeah!

There's a parts car for sell in "The Tennesseean" (Nashville) newspaper.
The ad reads as follows..."Audi 83  5000 turbo, engine, trans & other parts
still good, still drives, no title.  great for parts (615) 383-7946"
<---for those interested...will any of the parts fit my 84 4000s?  a little
something to dress her up maybe?

Hey, I just thought of something...With the headlights on the instrument
cluster lights come on, but there are no lights in the center part of the
dash (guages, hvac, etc).  Should there be or is it designed without any?
