Huw,

I installed a new style dash into my Ur-q last week and,
I noticed how easy the job is if you have a newer type of wiring harness
(with fuse box under the hood).
You do not even need Bently to help you.
The color coding for the switches on '83 1/2 all the way to '87 is
identical as well as number of wires so you simply match the colors.
It is a different story for the old (Rabbit) style fuse box where the color
coding is totally different.
I was worried I would have to go through the same PITA of matching the
wires as I did in my '82 Coupe.
Very nice surprise.
