Re: Tapping from engine



That seems to match the description of noisy hydraulic tappets, which is
common on the turbo 5 in the 5kcstq. Mine does that. I don't know if
that annoying behavior is common on the n/a 5 in your Coupe GT as well,
but I would think so. If that's it, then you could replace the tappets
if you really wanted to, but I don't believe there is any damage done by
leaving them as they are. At least I hope not.
