DON'T use fingernail polish. Tried that, the bulb just burns out to a nice
black lump. I've used red magic marker on a bulb for a different application
[non-automotive] and it seems to be holding up.
Just a general note to all. 1993 and above, the 90 series has clear plastic in
the seat heater switches and needs a red bulb. My personal solution was to ream
out the hole with a drill bit [battery drill set on low speed], and mount in a
red LED/resistor combo. Looks exactly like the original bulb, now I just need
to do the other one [even though it isn't burnt out, yet].
