The subject of adding a turbocharger to the normally aspirated engine has
been extensively discussed on the list in the past... It is not only
easier, but also much cheaper to simply put complete turbocharged engine. I
believe only AudiDudi was/is going to build a low-pressure turbocharged
engine starting with normally aspirated NF, but then, he's one of the Audi
Gods ;-) Mortals should not attempt this :-)
