RE: Turbo on a non turbo engine

Too high of compression to get any kind of boost into that motor. It would
ping at very low boost levels. Therefore, it is necessary to swap the entire
motor over. Calloway sold a kit for a while that was a bolt on but it could
not do anything but a little boost.

Hi everyone,
Just sitting around (very sick, stayed home from school). I know that
the turboed engines have sodium cooled valves(or something like that).
Would my non turboed engine (2.2 inline 5, CGT)stand up to the rigors of
a turbo? (Just researching....Christmas is just around the corner!).
