RE: Replacing or enhancing 4K CSQ headlights
The best thing to do is replace them with the h4 set up. That will allow you
to do a higher wattage bulb. But the best light is the h4/h1 setup. This
light is phenomenal.

Hi All,
My 86 4000 has bloody lousy headlights, the car was in a fender bender
before I got it and so the aiming of the headlights is off. I and my
mechanic have tried to adjust it and it is as good as it is going to
get. I was wondering about how to increase the amount of front light,
especially on low beams. I currently drive by braille at night or use
hight beams which are pretty good. It does tend to irritate other
drivers though :).
The options I have come up with include
1) replacing the bulbs (I got the best that I could at the local chain
store and it made little difference)
2) replace the whole headlight units (If the problem is aim I don't
know if that will fix it)
3) Add auxilliary driving (fog) lights (I am leaning towards this but
I would appreciate any advice on where to site them and what peoples
experiences have been with different models)
Thanks in advance
