So you didn't replace the main bearings at all?  So, it wasn't a problem 
no to in your case.  In mine, I fear it might be a problem since the 
engine was overheated.

No need for a ridge reamer as well?  Just use a regular hone and a 
hand drill?  The kind with the little balls on the end of the wires?

There aren't any bearings on the connecting rod/crank area, right?  Just 
bearing on the block/crank part?  (I've never gotten into the "bottom end" 
of a motor yet, but there's always a first time)

I guess I should do the Plastigauge thing.  Never did that one either.

Any pointers from anyone?  Mike T?
