I find that hard to believe for starters the bumpers and supporting brackets
are different from the US to European models. And wasn't the drivers seat
moved over an inch in the 90 model to improve side impact tests?? Also the
engines must be tested in certain bodies and with certain drivetrains for
example the US S4's/S6's all had five speeds whereas a 6 speed was available
in Europe becase Audi didn't wan't to foot the bill for testing the engine
with that transmission. So just because engine X in car Y passes federal
standards dosn't mean Engine X in car Z will....
