RE: Importing S2 (Was: Ersatz S2)
Scotty,
Having built an S2 type which now lives in California
I can say that the bumper in the USA is really something
compared to the S2.
The S2 only has the plastic cover protecting the intercooler
There is no brace of any kind what so ever!!!
The transmissions of the S4/S6/S6plus are all the same
externally!
The issue of the 6 speed was the testing that had to be
done in 3rd gear. Our 5 speed has the big jump between
2nd and 3rd to get acceptable mileage ratings.
